Israel and Bahrain signed on Sunday in Manama, under the aegis of the United States, a joint statement supplemented by several cooperation protocols in different areas.

This event comes a month after the signing in Washington of an agreement to normalize their relations.

Manama then followed in the footsteps of its Gulf neighbor, the United Arab Emirates.
