Dubai Economy Violates 11 establishments for non-compliance with precautionary measures



The field inspection teams of the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector in Dubai Economy continued their field inspection tours in various parts of the emirate, as part of their continuous efforts to ensure compliance with the implementation of precautionary measures and measures aimed at curbing the spread of the emerging Covid-19 virus.


Eleven various facilities, including two bodybuilding gyms, were violated, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council.

While the activities of the other infringing establishments were distributed to include the retail sector, shipping, installing air-conditioning systems, general trading, consumer complex, ready-to-wear trade, security devices and equipment trading, and money exchanges.


The areas where the facilities were violated included a number of shopping centers, in addition to the areas of Nahda, Al-Khabisi, Al-Raqqa, and Hor Al-Anz east.


The violations committed by the violating establishments were as follows: employees did not wear masks in 9 establishments, in addition to not observing physical distancing procedures in two facilities.


The inspection teams of the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector in the department issued a warning to two other establishments, due to the lack of physical spacing labels as required, while the number of stores that met the conditions and precautionary measures reached 685 stores.
