Amazon and El Corte Inglés have anticipated Black Friday, the day of discounts that takes place at the end of November and is the prelude to the Christmas campaign.

Amazon celebrates its Prime Day today and tomorrow,

with more than a million offers, while the group of department stores has made discounts to customers on their purchases this weekend.

With these two initiatives

, companies "are positioning themselves and anticipating to capture these purchases.

More and more companies are creating their own days, like Black Friday, so that Black Friday this year will be more diluted," says Ángela López, from the consulting firm Nielsen.

Amazon offers more than a million offers for its Prime customers today and tomorrow

.

On Prime Day last year, SMEs that sell through this platform registered sales of more than 2,000 million dollars.

This year, Amazon Prime customers who have spent 10 euros in recent days will have 10 euros in promotional balance during Prime Day.

Amazon Prime customers will also have access to Flash deals, which are only available for a few hours.

Customers can access Prime Day offers through the Amazon.com website and the Amazon app, with the possibility of splitting the payment into four installments or accessing a credit line of up to 3,000 euros.

Christmas campaign, in October

According to Francisco Aranda, president of the UNO logistics employer, "the Christmas campaign began on October 1, partly due to this change in Amazon's calendar. Many companies have been preparing since the summer."

According to López,

"consumers are beginning to search for the products they want to buy

for this Christmas season. They are looking for them now."

El Corte Inglés launched this weekend the "Estrena 15" campaign,

for which the customer was given a gift voucher for 15% of what was purchased from Friday to Saturday.

The discount can be used later from October 11 to 14 on purchases over 50 euros in the areas of fashion, accessories, lingerie, sports and home.

With this campaign,

"El Corte Inglés is trying to capture some of Amazon's sales,"

says the expert.

"Operators that have started with promotional campaigns will have an advantage," he adds.
