She called on Emirati companies to study investment opportunities in Israel, especially in East Jerusalem, and the Israeli free zones, stressing that Israel would grant Emirati investors the facilities necessary to enter the market and discover opportunities in Israel.

Nahum said that the talks to establish the Emirati-Israeli Business Council began since last April, when the peace talks between the two countries developed greatly, stressing that there is a remarkable desire for cooperation, and a desire on both sides to discover opportunities, improve relations and strengthen them.

She stated that meetings have already been held remotely with businessmen from the UAE, especially with companies owned by Israelis, working in the field of technology, innovation, information security and renewable energy, noting that the council will work to encourage Israeli businessmen and companies to come to the UAE, and discover opportunities that build Partnerships.

Expand cooperation

Nahum confirmed that the Council supports the agreement recently signed by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the Tel Aviv Chamber, noting that it contributes to expanding the horizons of economic cooperation at the regional and international levels, and is reflected in the business communities in Dubai, Israel and the Middle East region, calling for the start of official visits from businessmen. She pointed out that Israel is advanced in these technical fields, renewable energy, water purification technology and agricultural technology, and it can cooperate with its partners from the UAE to export these services to other markets in Africa and the region.

Nahum indicated that there is an important aspect in the peace process with the Emirates, which is that "Israeli Arabs" also benefit, as the tourism sector can be strengthened while allowing Muslims to visit Jerusalem, pointing out that the UAE is the business gateway to the African continent, and it has a strong transport, shipping and logistical industries. This enhances the access of industrial products to many regions of the world.

Joint agreements
