Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki and Minister of Strategy and Finance decided to seek additional countermeasures, seeing that the rise in jeonse prices would not be easily broken.

Deputy Prime Minister Hong said this at the National Assembly's Ministry of Strategy and Finance's audit of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance held at the National Assembly on the 8th.

In addition, when the Democratic Party's lawmaker Dong-min Lee inquired about the rise in jeonse prices, Deputy Prime Minister Hong replied, "The situation is rising a lot in the short term and it is unlikely to go down easily."

He said, "(After the countermeasures), I thought it would be effective in about two months, but it was unfortunate that it could not be stabilized," he said. "I will continue to take additional measures."

Deputy Prime Minister Hong explained the background, "With the right to apply for contract renewal, a significant number of charters will be extended this time, but those who do not have the right to apply for contract renewal will encounter a situation where there are few sales and excessive rent to avoid the 3rd Lease Act."

However, regarding the trading price, he analyzed that "it has maintained a flat or stable trend since real estate measures."
