Correos has launched, on the occasion of the festivity of next October 12,
a campaign with the aim of promoting the local product
entitled "Pride for what is ours", but
whose merchandising, curiously, is made in China.
The group announced yesterday the launch of this campaign and to
promote it, sent to the press a kit consisting of a T-shirt, made in Bangladesh, and a post office bag, made in China,
as can be seen on the labels.
The company assures that the bag, the shirt and the socks are
only part of the merchandising of the campaign, but that they have nothing to do with the postal uniform
.
In fact, El Corte Inglés reached an agreement in 2018 to design the garments that the company's employees wear for four years.
Promotional products for the press have an Asian invoice, but the Post's campaign "Pride for ours"
seeks to encourage the consumption of local products,
"in support of all companies and businesses" that have been working since the pandemic broke out. to serve and supply the Spanish.
The support campaign is carried out through Correos Market, the platform that makes all the logistics capacity of Correos and its network of more than 2,400 offices distributed throughout the national territory available to producers in Spain.
