  The CME route is jointly operated by four shipowners including COSCO Shipping Lines and OOCL. The route provides direct import and export services between Nansha and Singapore, Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, Klang and Penang.

  The relevant person in charge of the Guangzhou Port Group stated that the CME route operates in Nansha, enriching the trade channels for Guangdong enterprises to and from Malaysia, promoting the steady development of Guangdong’s local clothing and home appliance export markets, and meeting the increasing import demand for wood and recycled pulp, which will help deepen China and Malaysia.
