Careem launches passenger transportation services in Ras Al Khaimah

Careem, in partnership with the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA), today announced the launch of its passenger transportation reservation service in Ras Al Khaimah.

The launch of the new service aims to help passengers obtain additional means of transportation, and the service allows customers to reserve a limousine through the Careem app at a price starting at 10 dirhams. Customers can also track the trip and pay for the trip either in cash, credit cards or Careem's balance.


"The launch of the service comes as part of Careem's plans to provide transportation to the residents and visitors of the emirate. Therefore, we decided to start our partnership with the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority as part of the mission of the Super App Careem," said the General Manager of Careem in the Emirates.

And users residing in Ras Al Khaimah can access more services on the app, including balance transfer and mobile phone recharge.

"Karim" indicated that since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, health and safety measures have been imposed, which include providing Karim Captains with protective masks, hand sanitizers and disinfectant wipes to ensure the highest levels of hygiene and safety.

Ride services will only be available in the areas of Al Mfafak, Bu Lidwa, Al Hamra Village, Al Hamra, Al Hamra Island, Khatt, Al Dhait Al Janoubi, Ras Al Khaimah Airport, Al Nakhil, Al Seer, Al Rams, Al Saraya Island, Ghalila, Shaam, Al Jeer and Wadi Shaam.
