“OMV has received the decision of the Polish antimonopoly regulator and will analyze it in more detail,” RIA Novosti quoted the company's press service as saying.

It notes that "OMV firmly believes that it complies with all applicable laws."

Earlier it was reported that the Polish Office for the Protection of Competition and Consumers (UOKiK) decided to fine Gazprom and five European companies cooperating with it for the construction of Nord Stream 2.

UOKiK requires them to terminate the partnership agreement.
