As for the business conditions index for August, which was announced by the Cabinet Office, the index showing the current state of the economy increased by 1.1 points from the previous month.
This is the third consecutive month of improvement, and the economic judgment mechanically derived from the movement of the index has been revised upward from "deterioration" to "stopping decline".
