Kudrin assessed the impact of the second wave of coronavirus on the decline in Russia's GDP

“The forecast does not take into account the second wave of COVID, which, in fact, unfortunately, has begun.

And thus, the fall in GDP this year will probably be greater than according to the official forecast - somewhere from 4% to 5%, ”he said.

According to him, in connection with the evolving situation with COVID-19, the Russian authorities will have to adjust the forecast for next year.

Earlier, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russia prepared a review "The picture of business activity", which states that the decline in the country's GDP in August slowed down to 4.3% in annual terms.
