Gold starts in October on a high .. know the prices

Gold rose today, after it was boosted by the decline in the dollar and signs of progress in talks about new US stimulus measures.

By 05.55 GMT, spot gold increased 0.4% to $ 1892.23 an ounce, to start October on the rise, after recording its biggest monthly decline since the end of 2016 in September.

US gold futures rose 0.2% to $ 1899.80 an ounce.

The dollar index fell 0.2% against competing currencies, hovering around its lowest level in a week, reducing the cost of gold for investors who hold other currencies.

As for other precious metals, silver increased 1.8% to $ 23.64 an ounce, while platinum recorded its highest level in a week, reaching $ 905.15 an ounce, and in the latest trading it rose 1.6% to $ 902.40 an ounce, while palladium gained 0.7% to $ 2321.11 an ounce.
