This reorganization concerns its branch dedicated to business catering, affected by the coronavirus pandemic. 

The catering giant Elior announced Thursday the elimination of 1,888 jobs in France, in its branch dedicated to corporate catering, stricken since the Covid-19 epidemic which has led large companies in particular to put their employees in telecommuting.

This reorganization, which is the subject of an employment safeguard plan presented to the social partners, affects 1,260 catering establishments operated by its subsidiaries Elior Entreprises and Arpège, specifies in a press release the group, which will attempt to "propose a reclassification to the employees concerned "to its other activities in France.
