Spending on six groups of the sectors approved to track the consumer price movement index in the UAE increased during last August compared to the previous July, according to the latest statistics of the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority.
The list of sectors that recorded an increase in their indicators as a result of the increase in spending at the annual level included the food and beverage sector, clothing and footwear, tobacco, education, restaurants and hotels, and other goods and services.
On the other hand, the indicators of the housing, water, electricity and gas sectors declined, along with household equipment and equipment, health services, transportation services, communications, promotion and culture.
