But Stéphane Richard ensures on the one hand that his motivation is not financial, at least in the short term, and on the other hand that its deployment will not be an opportunity for operators to increase prices for users.
5G is currently at the heart of the debate in France.
On the one hand, the government which wants to accelerate its establishment on the territory, on the other of the opponents, ecologists in mind, who demand a moratorium, arguing of a possible dangerousness of this new technology of mobile telephony.
Anyway, operators are actively preparing, especially because the auction for the allocation of frequencies starts on September 29.
