The Dow fell more than 130 points, the Nasdaq fell 1.27%, and the S&P 500 fell 0.84%.

  As of the close, the Dow closed down 130.40 points, or 0.47%, to 27901.98 points; the Nasdaq closed 140.19 points, or 1.27%, to 10910.28 points; the S&P 500 closed 28.48 points, or 0.84%, to 3,357.01 points.

  Major US technology stocks fell across the board. Apple fell 1.6%, Amazon fell 2.25%, Netflix fell 2.82%, Google fell 1.66%, Facebook fell 3.3%, and Microsoft fell 1.04%.

  US financial stocks fell across the board. JPMorgan Chase fell 1.12%, Goldman Sachs fell 2.89%, Citigroup fell 1.04%, Morgan Stanley fell 1.74%, Bank of America fell 0.98%, Wells Fargo fell 2.29%, Berkshire Hathaway fell 1.34%.

  In terms of US energy stocks, Exxon Mobil fell 0.08%, Chevron rose 0.2%, ConocoPhillips rose 2.88%, Schlumberger fell 0.52%, and Occidental Petroleum rose 1.98%.

  As for American Airlines stocks, Boeing rose 0.1%, American Airlines fell 1.23%, Delta Airlines fell 1.82%, Southwest Airlines fell 4.06%, and United Airlines rose 0.14%.
