SBI SECURITIES, a major online securities company, announced that a total of 98.64 million yen has flowed out of its six clients' accounts.

It means that a third party illegally logged in to the customer's securities account and used fake identity verification documents to withdraw money to the accounts opened at Japan Post Bank and Mitsubishi UFJ Bank.

SBI SECURITIES has a policy of indemnifying the entire amount.
