Dubai Economy Violates 12 Establishments, Warning 5 Not Adhering to Coronavirus Measures

Yesterday, Dubai Economy stated that it had violated 12 establishments, and alerted five others, for not adhering to precautionary measures to curb the emerging "Corona" virus.

The department explained that the 12 establishments' violations were distributed among retail stores in a number of shopping centers, sewing and embroidery shops, in addition to a number of bodybuilding halls, which were visited in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, in the areas of Wadi Al-Safa 7, Al-Habiya Al-Thani, and Al-Rashidiya.

And it indicated that the violations committed by the violating facilities included not wearing masks by employees, in addition to not taking the necessary measures to take into account the application of physical distancing.

In addition, the inspection teams of the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector in the Dubai Economy issued a warning to five other establishments, due to the lack of physical spacing labels as required, indicating that the number of stores that meet the conditions and precautionary measures reached 767.

The Dubai Economy affirmed that the field inspection teams of the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector will continue their field inspection trips in various parts of the emirate, as part of their continuous efforts to ensure compliance with the application of precautionary measures and measures aimed at curbing the spread of "Covid-19".

The Dubai Economy stressed the need for the contributions of groups and segments of society to preserve the gains achieved by the Emirate of Dubai during the current stage, despite the great and global challenges due to the health pandemic.
