The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by its representative office in China, organized an electronic seminar to help companies in the UAE benefit from e-commerce, to expand their presence in the Chinese market, and how to take advantage of the well-known Chinese e-commerce platforms to build a brand in the Chinese market.

The Chamber stated in a statement yesterday that the symposium aimed to provide practical guidance for entering the Chinese electronic market, and to identify new investment opportunities that help brands in the country to overcome the repercussions and effects of the spread of the "Covid-19" virus in the business sector, noting that he participated in The hypothetical symposium has 35 companies, among which are well-known brands such as "Patchi", "Patel" and "Camelicious".

The Director of Foreign Offices at the "Dubai Chamber", Omar Khan, stressed the importance of the symposium in introducing the Emirati business community to new trends in the business world, especially with the shift in economic activities to the electronic field, considering that the Chinese electronic market is one of the most important markets in the world.

He said, "If it is possible to take full advantage of it, it will bring about a quantum leap in the activity of companies that succeed in this large market."

Khan stressed the "Dubai Chamber" permanent commitment to help brands in Dubai enter successful markets and introduce them to investment opportunities, stressing that the future is for electronic and smart activities, and companies should adapt to the changes and develop their strategies to serve the consumer, who is now more selective in his choice of platforms. He marketed for various merchandise and commodities.

He pointed out that the Chamber has succeeded, through its representative offices in China, in facilitating the entry of Emirati companies into the Chinese market, most notably Al Ain Water and the Camel Soap Factory, while there are other brands that cooperate and coordinate with the Chamber to expand in the Chinese market, where brands attract companies. For his part, Director General of "eTOC China", which provides services to facilitate and grow business in China through e-commerce, Tong Hao, said that China accounts for about 45% of the total revenues of the global e-commerce market, considering that the electronic market is regulated by the authorities.
