The ceremony, which began an hour late, took place with great fanfare on the White House lawn decorated with the flags of the three guest countries and the American star-spangled banner.

Donald Trump congratulated himself on having succeeded in negotiating these agreements.

The American president speaks of an “

incredible moment for the world

 ”, of an “

incredible

moment

for peace

 ”.

The United Arab Emirates and Bahrain officially become the third and fourth Arab countries to sign normalization agreements with Israel, recalls our correspondent in New York,

Benyamin Netanyahu hailed "

the beginning of a new era

 ", addressing a "

peace be with you

 " in Arabic to "

all countries

" who would embark on the same path for peace in the region.

Negotiations in this direction would also be underway and in good voice, according to Donald Trump, who says that five to six other Arab countries would be ready to sign similar agreements very soon.

While they too played the role played by the Trump administration in these agreements, the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain insisted that these agreements were a first step towards peace in the region, but that it could only be sustainable with a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine.

Israel has indeed committed to suspend its annexation of the Palestinian territories, but we still do not know the details of the agreements signed on Tuesday, the content of which will not be made public until the end of the ceremony.

These agreements are causing a lot of reaction on the Palestinian side.

A few dozen demonstrators gathered in front of the White House, denouncing a stab in the back.

Rallies were also organized in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

In addition, the Israeli army announces that two rockets were fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip.
