Goubuli Group Co., Ltd. issued a statement on the 15th stating that Goubuli Group will terminate its cooperation with franchisees of Wangfujing Store from now on.

  According to the "West China Metropolis Daily" report, recently, a Weibo blogger posted a video of a field visit at the Goubuli restaurant in Wangfujing, Beijing, which caused heated discussions among netizens.

In the video, Weibo blogger "Gu Yue" commented on the quality, service, and price of the buns in the store, mainly negative.

  Soon after the video was released, the Weibo account @王府井狗不理店 issued a statement stating that all slurs in the video were false information, and the police had been reported to ask the blogger to stop the infringement and publicly apologize.

In this regard, the blogger said that the video content is his own real experience.

  On the 15th, Goubuli Group Co., Ltd. issued a statement stating that the "Goubuli Wangfujing Store" was a franchise store before the restructuring of Goubuli in 2005 and has existed to this day.

After the incident, the Goubuli Group attached great importance to it, and the leaders of the group led a team to go to the Goubuli Wangfujing Store to understand what happened.

It is understood that without reporting to Goubuli Group, Goubuli Wangfujing Store handled consumer reviews without authorization and was seriously inappropriate, and could not represent the official behavior and position of the Group.

  The statement pointed out that because the Wangfujing store seriously violated the Goubuli Group’s corporate brand management regulations and the related agreements of the franchise agreement signed with the Goubuli Group, it seriously damaged the reputation of the Goubuli Group and caused extremely bad social impacts. From now on, the management group will terminate the cooperation with the franchisee of the store.
