The notification pointed out that on August 31, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a report to the public The list of 101 APP companies that violated user rights and interests was notified.

Up to now, after verification and re-examination by a third-party testing agency, there are still 23 APPs that have not completed rectification as required.

In accordance with the "Network Security Law" and the "Interim Provisions on the Management of Presetting and Distribution of Mobile Smart Terminal Application Software" (Gongxinguan [2016] No. 407) and other legal and regulatory document requirements, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized the removal of the above apps .

  The notification stated that relevant application stores should immediately organize the removal of the application software in the list after the publication of this notification.
