A survey found that the Chuseok bonuses that companies pay to employees will record the lowest level ever.



As a result of a survey of 1,140 companies, it was revealed today (14th) that 51.3% of the companies that give Chuseok bonuses this year and the average amount paid were 586,000 won.



It was 61,000 won less than last year (647,000 won), which was less than 600,000 won for the first time since the company started its investigation in 2012.



By company size, large companies were 920,000 won, mid-sized companies 680,000 won, and small and medium-sized companies 510,000 won.



Companies that give Chuseok gifts accounted for 71.7% of all companies.



The most common gift types were processed foods such as ham and tuna (49.6%, multiple responses).
