  According to statistics, from January to August this year, the total number of rural tourism in the country was 1.207 billion, the total income was 592.5 billion yuan, the operating rate reached 94.5%, and the number of rural tourism employees reached 10.61 million.

  It is reported that in 2019, the total number of rural tourist trips nationwide was 3.09 billion, accounting for more than half of the total domestic tourist trips, and the total rural tourism revenue was 1.81 trillion yuan.

  According to reports, in recent years, rural tourism has grown in diversified needs. It has surpassed the traditional form of farmhouses and transformed into a complex of sightseeing, leisure and vacation. It has given birth to the development of products and projects such as characteristic homestays, night tours, cultural experience, and thematic research.
