[Explanation] On September 9, the 2020 China International Service Trade Fair held a closing press conference in Beijing.
At the meeting, Yan Ligang, director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, said that the current service trade fair has a bright theme, rich content, and fruitful results. Exhibitions and 190 forums and negotiation activities covering all 12 fields of service trade were held.

[Explanation] The Service Trade Fair is China’s first major international economic and trade event combining online and offline since the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

The number of registered exhibitors at this session of the Service Trade Fair exceeded 100,000. Under the strong leadership of the Organizing Committee, Beijing, the Health Commission, and the Ministry of Commerce and other departments have made careful arrangements to better realize the epidemic prevention and control and facilitate the exhibition, The combination of pragmatic and efficient exhibitions has accumulated valuable experience for organizing various large-scale exhibitions under the normalized conditions of epidemic prevention and control.
[Explanation] It is reported that the Service Trade Fair is the world's first comprehensive exhibition in the field of service trade and an important window for China's service industry to open up to the outside world. Together with the China International Import Expo and the Canton Fair, it constitutes China's three major open-up exhibitions.
