  "It takes three years to learn Ramen?" With such questions, a reporter from China News Agency visited Xinglong Lanzhou Beef Ramen International Business School, known as the "Beef Noodle University".

  Liang Shunjian, the deputy dean of the college, told reporters that learning beef noodles requires not only the skills of ramen, but also the theory and management. This is the meaning of "Beef Noodle University".

  When enrolling students at the beginning, many parents, including children, did not understand that (why) it takes three years to learn ramen, which is actually not the case. During these three years, they learned modern kitchen management, including marketing, and some stores. Site selection and management are a series of courses. It comes down to nearly 13 courses.

  [Explanation] Before the 1980s, beef noodle restaurants were state-owned enterprises, and few private noodle restaurants were opened.

Later, the beef noodle shop quickly realized the transformation to the mass fast food, but the beef noodle production technology is passed down by the secret method, and the ramen master has become a "fragrant rice noodle".

  In order to allow more people to pass on the ramen technology, in 2018, Liang Shunjian, the deputy secretary-general of the Lanzhou Beef Ramen Industry Association and the chairman of Gansu Jinweidela Noodle Cultural Industry Group, initiated the joint Lanzhou Resources and Environment Vocational and Technical College to establish "Xinglong Lanzhou Beef Ramen International Business School", through the joint school-enterprise operation, attracts people from home and abroad to come and learn.

  In the earliest days, beef ramen noodles as a burdensome street food has evolved to the current modern chain enterprises, but one of its shortcomings is that there is a gap in the comprehensive professionalism of the employees.

  [Explanation] Kneading noodles, rubbing noodles, pulling noodles, ramen...In the practical classroom, students learn ramen skills under the guidance of teacher Zhou Xingguo.

  Zhou Xingguo, who has been teaching for 6 years, has witnessed many disciples learn to start a business, and he has a sense of achievement.

He believes that ramen is no longer a work of strength before, but more like an art.

  In the past, when we made cow noodles, there were no machines, and all the noodles were made manually. It was individual labor, so girls couldn’t do it. Now they basically use machines instead of manual labor. The posture of female students is better than that of male (students). ) Even better.

  [Explanation] As a college student, Wang Yutong is Zhou Xingguo’s proud female disciple. She basically mastered the whole process of making beef noodles in just 3 days. Wang Yutong told reporters that the reason for learning ramen skills is because she has a "chef dream". Hope that more people can taste the Lanzhou specialties.

  Up to now, the "Beef Noodle University" has trained more than 40,000 ramen talents at home and abroad, and the students are all over China, the United States, France, Canada and other places.
