The "JP Reform Executive Committee" is an outside expert committee established by the Japan Post Group in response to the inappropriate problems of Japan Post Insurance, and held its fifth meeting on the 3rd.



Regarding the inappropriate sales issue of Japan Post Insurance, it has been pointed out that the whistleblowing system of each Japan Post Group company did not function sufficiently.



At the meeting on the 3rd, we decided to set up a new contact point inside the committee, in addition to the contact point for fraudulent reports established by each company.



It also decided to set up a team to verify the operational status of the reporting system established by Japan Post and its subsidiaries, Japan Post, Japan Post Insurance and Japan Post Bank.



The committee intends to prevent recurrence by creating an environment in which fraud is promptly reported.
