The UAE and Israel agree to establish bilateral committees for cooperation in the banking and financial sector

The Governor of the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates, Abdul Hamid Muhammad Saeed Al-Ahmadi, and Director General of the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, Ronen Barts, signed a memorandum of understanding for future cooperation in the banking and financial sector.

The two sides agreed during a meeting today in Abu Dhabi to form working groups and bilateral committees to facilitate banking work between the UAE and the State of Israel, in the presence of Meir Bin Shabat, Advisor and Chairman of the Israeli National Security Council.
