The source of "Tochiotome" was created by "Tsukisei Food", a food company in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture.



The company purchased about 2 tons of Tochiotome for events such as summer festivals, but due to the new coronavirus, the events were canceled one after another, and we had a large inventory.



Since the company manufactures sauce for yakisoba, we worked on the development of sauce using "Tochiotome", which has lost its place, and started selling it in May this year.

The sauce is popular because it has plenty of flesh and it is also suitable for shaved ice, and it has sold over 2000 packs, which is equivalent to about 400 kg of strawberries, so before the company We also installed a dedicated vending machine.

A man who purchased the sauce from a vending machine said, "Tochigi is a strawberry kingdom, so I would like to support the strawberry industry."
