Pasona Part of the headquarters function in Tokyo 1200 employees Move to Awaji Island September 1 18:46

Amid the spread of new coronavirus infections, there is a growing movement to rethink the way people work, and Pasona Group, a major human resources service company, has decided to gradually move some of its headquarters functions in Tokyo to Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture.

Along with this, approximately 1200 employees are expected to move to the new location by May 2024, four years later.

The Pasona Group has decided to gradually transfer the human resources, finance, and business planning operations that were carried out at its headquarters in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo from the 1st to Awaji Island in Hyogo Prefecture.



Since 2008, the Group has been developing tourism facilities on Awaji Island, and will also establish a base for marketing and online sales by utilizing digital technology such as AI = artificial intelligence in line with the relocation.



As a result, of the approximately 1800 employees who will be responsible for the headquarters functions of the entire group, approximately 1200 will move to a new location by May 2024, four years later.



However, if employees do not wish to move to Awaji Island, we would like to confirm their intentions individually and decide what to do with them.



With the spread of infections, and the movement to reconsider work styles, the Group wants to strengthen its efforts to create an organization that responds to new lifestyles, expand infectious diseases, and continue business in the event of a disaster.
