Sino-Singapore Jingwei Client, September 2 (Luo Kun intern Tang Xiaoyu) "High salary, full employment" "As long as four months, you can get a good job"... In recent years, the high salary of the Internet industry has attracted a large number of job seekers In view of this, some fast-track training institutions came into being, claiming that it only takes a very short time to help job-seekers master programming and other skills, and then switch to a high-paying job.

If job seekers cannot afford the high training fees, they will help with loans.

What is hidden in such a one-stop service?

"Being loaned" when checking the quota?

Wang Hui from Hebei is a nurse in the hospital. He signed up for a Java programming training course from Dane Education last year and was about to change his job.

Dane is called Dane Times Technology Group. It is a listed company on the US stock market and a leading company in IT training in China.

Public information shows that the founder of Dane Education Group founded Dane in March 2002 and developed it into a comprehensive education group with IT, pan-IT, non-IT vocational education and children’s programming education as its core. In April 2014, Listed on NASDAQ in the United States.

Headquartered in Beijing, it has established more than 330 training centers in 70 cities in China with more than 10,000 employees.

According to its official website, Dane has carried out school-enterprise cooperation with more than 1,000 colleges and universities across the country, helping 1 million students successfully find employment from 2002 to 2020.

It seems that it should be a reliable institution. With this idea, Wang Hui walked into the door of Dane Education.

When he learned that the tuition fee was 22,800 yuan, Wang Hui decided to abandon the application.

According to his recall, the staff of the agency asked Wang Hui to download an Internet finance app to see if he was eligible for the loan.

"He took my mobile phone and ID card to go out, and later I found out that there was a loan owed more than 20,000 in my mobile phone, which was divided into 20 installments, and the interest was very high." Wang Hui recalled. For this sudden extra loan, the staff of the agency stated that the loan would be paid off soon after two months of work after the training.

With constant persuasion from the staff, Wang Hui finally signed the contract.

Similar to Wang Hui's experience, Lu Chang from Shandong carried out the operation of "checking the loan limit" and was burdened with a loan of 21,800 yuan in principal and 6,125.64 yuan in interest, which was paid off in 24 installments.

"They asked me if I had a loan limit, and they gave me a QR code and asked me to scan it and try it. I just wanted to see my limit, but I paid it directly. I didn’t have any receipts or invoices, so they let me The loan will be repaid next month." Lu Chang said.

Another student, He Rui, was told by the admissions teacher that their loan was a government loan, and the loan could only be students or younger job-seekers, and said that the monthly loan interest was extremely low. This "commitment" eliminated He Rui's concerns.

20,000 yuan to buy a bunch of video lessons

According to information on the official website of Dane Education Beijing, the average employment salary of class 1908 students in the Java course is 12,650 yuan/month.

The average salary of trainees in product managers, software testing and other training courses is also around 10,000 yuan.

If the lessons bought with loans do have gold content, compared with the future career prospects, the initial investment of 20,000 yuan is not unacceptable.

However, many trainees reported that after the loan, they learned that the form of class is not face-to-face but an online class. The previously mentioned one-to-one teaching has been changed to a recorded class.

Disappointed, these students decided to ask Dane for a refund.

He Rui told reporters that she returned to the school within half an hour after leaving to request a refund.

After negotiation, the two parties decided to refund on August 17, but the loan has not been cancelled as of press time.

In addition, compared to the enthusiastic promotion before the payment, no one would follow up on the students’ learning progress after the payment. According to Lu Chang’s recollection, no one would inform the test format and content of the interim exam. They are okay."

Before the payment, Dane’s official website promised to guarantee employment and pay tuition in full if not employed.

"I took a screenshot of the official website. I went to their official website today and I don't say that anymore." Wang Hui said, "Now that the class is over, I have not found a new job, and what I learned is not very helpful. My previous work was also delayed. , And repay the loan..."

The Sino-Singapore Jingwei client consulted with Dane Education customer service as a student. The customer service said that the training is recommended for employment.

"It is recommended until you get employed. If you feel that the job is not suitable, you will give feedback to the school teacher and recommend it to you until you are satisfied," said Dane Education's customer service.

However, the customer service has never answered the question of whether the tuition fee can be paid.

The Sino-Singapore Jingwei client has also seen on third-party complaint platforms such as Ju Complaint that since 2015, a large number of consumers have complained about the difficulty of refunding Dane Education.

In the end, Wang Hui and Lu Chang did not find their desired job.

After complaining to Dane Education on multiple third-party platforms, Wang Hui and Lu Chang received the notice of Dane’s agreement to refund requests.

In an exchange group spontaneously formed by the "Dane claimants", there are many people with similar experiences. Some of them get refunds through the normal process; some pay high liquidated damages and cancel the loan; some still fail to claim .

He Rui once complained about the efficiency of refunds in Dane's agency in the group, and was later told by agency personnel not to talk casually.

Recently, the Sino-Singapore Jingwei client wrote to the official website of Danei Education to verify the above situation, but as of the time of publication, no reply was received.

In addition, the reporter called the customer service of Dane Education's official website. The other party said that they needed to give feedback to the person in charge before accepting the interview. However, the reporter did not receive any response as of press time.

"Follow-up proof is difficult, so you need to be vigilant when registering"

Regarding the phenomenon that the above-mentioned interviewee mentioned the institution instructing them to apply for loans without their knowledge, Li Min, a senior partner of Shanghai Hansheng Law Firm, pointed out in an interview with the Sino-Singapore Jingwei Client that from the perspective of the students Generally speaking, it is difficult to prove that the act of applying for a loan is not his own act, or that it was performed by someone else on his behalf, so it will ultimately be recognized as his act.

If the student can prove that it is not his own behavior, then the organization's behavior is illegal.

"If this kind of thing does happen and there are a lot of them, I personally suggest that you can solve the problem by complaining to the competent department or reporting the case to the public security organ."

"General contract terms are standard terms. Relatively speaking, students are on the weaker side." Li Min said, therefore, in terms of refunds, the court needs to comprehensively evaluate the case based on the circumstances of the case, including both parties’ fault liability and whether both parties have liability for breach of contract. Determine the refund amount.

Facing some chaos in the training industry, Bai Feiyun, an investment partner of Beijing Jingshi Law Firm, puts forward three suggestions: First, when choosing a training institution, trainees should pay attention to the qualifications of the institution and consider its registration time and company size.

You can also inquire about the litigation-related situation of the training institution through the Judgment Document Disclosure Network, and learn about its teaching and management capabilities in many ways.

Secondly, when purchasing training services, trainees must be alert to induced consumption, raise legal awareness and contract awareness, carefully ask about payment methods, and do not let others help operate easily. When choosing "training loans", in addition to considering the qualifications of the financial platform, they must be rational. Consider the amount of principal and interest to be repaid, the length of loan repayment, and your own repayment ability, etc., carefully read the contract text to avoid losses due to negligence.

Finally, if a student chooses to use a loan to pay the training fee, and the training institution is found to have "run off" or "off the road", it is unable to process refunds, and the student must repay the loan as agreed, the student should promptly report to the police The agency reports, and collects the education and training contracts signed with the training institutions, related training records, course progress, remaining class hours and other evidence, and promptly files a lawsuit in the court.

  Complaints and fewer trainees

On the evening of June 11, Dane Education announced its 2019 annual report.

The financial report shows that in 2019, Dane Education's annual revenue was 2.051 billion yuan, a decrease from 2.085 billion yuan in the same period in 2018; the net loss was 1.039 billion yuan, an increase of 75.4% from 592 million yuan in the same period in 2018.

Dane Education explained in its annual report that the decline in income was mainly due to the decline in the number of adult students.

This also means that Dane Education's once carrying handle business is facing a dilemma.

The financial report shows that its total number of adult students registered has dropped from approximately 118,600 in 2017 to approximately 108,800 in 2019.

At the same time, its tuition fees have increased year by year.

The 2019 annual report shows that Dane Education has increased the standard tuition fees of some courses offered in some major cities by 2,000 yuan to 3,000 yuan each.

For adult full-time courses, the standard tuition fee for each course of Dane Education in 2019 is between 19,800 yuan and 26,800 yuan.

The sudden new crown pneumonia epidemic has brought many training institutions into the "darkest moment".

Dane Education stated in its annual report that due to the restrictions on enrollment caused by the epidemic, it was unable to regularly organize seminars and preparatory training camps for students in the learning center as usual, and it was unable to carry out other offline sales and marketing activities. Therefore, when recruiting students It's difficult.

In addition, due to the fact that some universities have not yet opened, Dane Education’s ability to directly recruit students from partner universities has also been negatively affected.
