Recently, in the Yunyang Mushroom Poverty Alleviation Industrial Park in Shiyan, Hubei, various forms of Ganoderma lucidum on the cultivation racks have attracted attention.

They looked like small umbrellas, palms, or shells.

Some of them are covered with layers of brown powder, looking like a chocolate mille-cake from a distance.

In fact, this layer of brown powder is the Ganoderma lucidum seeds released when Ganoderma lucidum matures, also called spore powder, which has extremely high medicinal value.

Ganoderma is a kind of mushroom. Its medicinal use has a history of more than 2,000 years in China. The planting base of mushroom town in Yunyang, Hubei has developed into the largest contiguous mushroom planting base in China.
