The Department’s Undersecretary indicated that the “Maak” legal advice service provides new and current investors with all necessary information about legislation, laws and policies regulating the practice of economic activities in the emirate, in a way that contributes to supporting and developing business, and enabling entrepreneurs to practice economic activities according to sound and organized procedures.

Rashid Al-Balushi also mentioned that the “Maak” service includes the services of the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development with the aim of supporting citizen entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium-sized national projects, including financing services, and the advantages that they can obtain through membership in the fund, in addition to the advisory services provided to support Entrepreneurs on the journey of establishing and expanding their business, various training courses and workshops on entrepreneurship and small and medium enterprises within the UAE.

He stated that the launch of the pilot phase of the "Maak" service project from January until last May resulted in providing services, either through direct contact or the instant chat system, to about 74,430 people who received economic consultations, and 13,847 people who obtained legal advice, while about 218 people Apply for information on business support and development in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
