This year's goal is to reach 200 billion yuan in sales of poverty alleviation products, and to avoid large-scale unsalable sales of poverty alleviation products, organize the "Consumption Poverty Alleviation Month" event, widely mobilize all sectors of the society to participate, and increase procurement as much as possible.

  According to reports, the National Consumer Poverty Alleviation Month campaign aims to promote the sales of high-quality and characteristic poverty alleviation products, ensure the effective supply of urban “rice bags,” “vegetable baskets,” and “fruit plates”, and build a long-term social poverty alleviation mechanism. The social poverty alleviation network is used as an information service platform.   This event mainly includes five special events, including the special promotion activities for the consumption poverty alleviation counters and the Chinese farmers' harvest festival and the golden autumn consumption season activities.

  At the launching ceremony, 105 units including the State Council’s Poverty Alleviation Office and the National Development and Reform Commission jointly issued a proposal for the “Ten Thousand Enterprises Participate and Hundreds of People Walk Together” Consumer Poverty Alleviation Action.
