The publication claims to have found several advertisements about this database on "specialized sites and Telegram channels."

It is noted that the Visa payment system has already informed credit institutions about the leak. At the same time, a Joom spokesman confirmed that the leak actually occurred in March.

According to the publication, the database contains information about clients of various credit institutions, including Sberbank, Rosselkhozbank, Otkritie Bank and other Russian and foreign monetary organizations.

In February, Dmitry Skobelkin, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Russia, called for increased responsibility of employees of financial organizations for personal data leakage.
