Officials of travel and tourism companies said that there is a decrease in the prices of return tickets to the UAE from major Arab destinations for residents, reaching 50% now, after ticket prices reached high levels during the past two weeks, coinciding with the increase in demand.

They explained to Emirates Today that the reason for the decrease in airline ticket prices is due to the decline in demand with the end of the summer vacations, and the approaching academic year that begins next week, when many students, parents and teachers have already returned to the country.

In detail, the CEO of "Nirava Travel and Tourism", Alaa Al-Ali, said that there are almost 50% decreases in airline tickets prices from the main destinations for residents to return to the UAE, now, after ticket prices reached high levels in the past two weeks, Coincided with the increase in demand.

Al-Ali explained that there is a decline in the demand, now, after the return of a large number of residents already to the country, after the entry into force of the second phase of the return of residents, and the immediate approval of the return permit, especially since the second phase coincided with the beginning of the school year, and the return of students and teachers. For his part, the travel and tourism consultant, and the general manager of "Asayel Tourism Company", Riad Al-Faisal, said that return tickets prices from the main destinations of residents in the country have decreased significantly, up to 50%, compared to the previous period, as the price of the ticket from Cairo decreased. To an average of 1,000 dirhams, compared to more than 2,000 dirhams previously, and the price of a ticket from Beirut to the UAE decreased to about 1,000 dirhams, according to the airline, destination in the UAE and date of travel, compared to more than 1,300 dirhams, approximately, in the past.
