Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Hyun-mi said, "It's unfortunate," saying that although the real estate tax was strengthened, many homes were sold by multi-homed people, but young people in their thirties received it as'young people'.

Minister Kim said this to the Democratic Party's Rep. So Byung-hoon at the general meeting of the National Assembly's National Land Transportation Committee today (25th).

When Congressman So asked, "Have you ever heard of stories that rental houses such as rental apartments are being transferred to individuals?" Minister Kim said, "There are a lot of housing sales sold by corporations and multi-homeowners. He said, "I feel sorry that people in their 30s bought what the corporations, etc., brought it out."

Rep. So even referred to the word'dark forces in the media's mask' and expressed dissatisfaction with the recent media reports related to real estate and demanded a strict response from Minister Kim.

Regarding this, Minister Kim said, "The real estate-related bill was passed and this effect began to work in August, and this is reflected in statistics only after August." However, the July statistics reported in the media now trade before the law is passed. Because it has been done, it has not been able to reflect the situation after passing the law.”

Minister Kim added, "In the recent market, gap investment is decreasing, and we can see that a lot of products are being sold by corporations."

Rep. So, referring to an article stating that the house price in Seoul has exceeded 1 billion won, asked if he was aware of this, and Minister Kim said, "It was over 1 billion won when looking at some apartments, but it is reported that it is statistics for the whole of Seoul. I know you did it."

Rep. So said, "I think there will be a force behind the reporter rather than simply covered by the reporter," and argued that "we need to create a powerful mechanism against disturbing the market with false articles or false information."

Minister Kim reiterated his intention to promote the real estate supervisory agency.

He said, "I am thinking that there is a need for an organization that can fix laws related to real estate market transactions to provide a basis for crackdown and to be able to do it in practice," he said. "We are going to discuss between ministries for this purpose."

Minister Kim said, "It is legally inadequate to regulate behaviors that disturb the real estate market," he said. "As the proportion of real estate among assets in Korea exceeds 70%, I think it is very important to protect the national assets."
