After receiving the feedback of the problem, the Nanchang City Market Supervision Bureau immediately launched an investigation.
The notification stated that the registered name of the Nanchang "Burger King" restaurant is Nanchang Xinkai Catering Co., Ltd., and there are 6 stores in Nanchang: Honggutan Lianfa Tianhong Store, Honggutan Causeway Bay Plaza Store, Wangfujing Shopping Center Store, Yingshi Plaza Store, Gaoxin New Town Wuyue Store and Hengmao Dream Times Store.

It has been found that the above-mentioned six stores all have illegal acts of using food raw materials beyond the expiration date to produce food, violating Article 34(3) of the Food Safety Law. It was also found that Honggutan Lianfa Tianhong Store also had illegal activities in hamburger making and cutting corners and harming consumers' rights and interests, which violated the provisions of Article 13 (1) of the Measures for Punishment of Violations of Consumer Rights and Interests.
In response to the above violations, in accordance with Article 124, paragraph 1, item (2) of the Food Safety Law, and Article 15 of the Measures for Penalties for Violations of Consumer Rights and Interests, the Nanchang Municipal Market Supervision Bureau imposed on 6 stores Administrative penalties of confiscation of illegal income and fines were imposed, with a total fine of 916504.02 yuan.
In addition, Nanchang Xinkai Catering Co., Ltd. deliberately used food raw materials beyond the shelf life to produce food, in accordance with the provisions of Article 75, paragraph 1, item (1) of the "Food Safety Law", Nanchang City Market The Supervision Bureau imposes a top fine on its legal representative, and the main person in charge, directly responsible persons in charge and other directly responsible persons impose corresponding fines, with a total fine of 2816029.78 yuan.
