The more dynamic 545e xDrive has a 286 hp in-line six, which brings the total power of the hybrid system to 394 hp (against 252 hp max. For the 530e xDrive 4-cylinder). The 0 to 100 km / h suddenly falls in less than 5 seconds. The electrical part of the system is unchanged, therefore still offering a theoretical range of 54 to 57 km.

The price, on the other hand, will change sharply, upwards of course: it will take some 70,000 € for the BMW 545e xDrive (official prices not yet announced), against 60,900 € for the BMW 530e xDrive.
