Emirates Airlines: Two additional options for tickets before August 31
Emirates Airlines said it has provided two additional options for its customers affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, in the event that passengers booked their tickets on or before August 31, 2020, to travel on or before November 30, 2020.
The company added on its website that tickets can be kept for future use and their validity will be extended up to 24 months from the date of the original reservation, indicating that it will accept the price that the dealers paid for their original reservation of any trip to the same destination or region at any time without imposing any fees during this period of time.
She indicated that travelers only have to call to determine the new timing of their flight when they are ready to travel.
She indicated that the original reservation can also be converted into a travel voucher, and the value of the travel voucher will be equivalent to the amount that the dealers paid for their original reservation, pointing out that the validity of the travel voucher will be for a period of one year from the date of issue and can be renewed for another year, and the coupon can be replaced with an airline ticket or products and services. She indicated that the option "keep tickets" or "travel vouchers" allows the traveler to change his destination, and the price they paid for their trip will be accepted to book a trip to the same destination or to a destination within the same region, for example, if London is their original destination, they can re-book Excursion to Amsterdam at no additional charge.
It stated that no amendment fees will be imposed when customers re-book during a 24-month period, whether through the option of "keeping tickets" or "travel vouchers", and thus they will benefit from greater flexibility in planning their future trips.
