Manuel A. Hidalgo (Seville, 1973) has a doctorate in Economics from the Pompeu Fabra University, a professor at Pablo de Olavide and until June he held the General Secretariat of Economy of the Junta de Andalucía, a post for which Ciudadanos signed him and left voluntarily. He estimates that "between 300,000 and 400,000 workers in ERTE will not return to their post" and believes that "the impossible" must be done to open schools because they are "a social elevator" and their closure "discriminates."
