  Huifeng Village, Xicheng Sub-district, Nanchuan District, Chongqing is a poor village whose main industry is the planting of green cabbage. In the past, the green cabbage grown by villagers was processed into old salted vegetables by themselves. The price was not only low, but also often unsalable. With the coordination and help of the United Front Work Department of the Nanchuan District Committee, the local old salted vegetables took the route of fine processing, and established complete facilities and standards for planting, harvesting, processing, and packaging. Traditional agricultural products also gradually had a standardized management system. The old salted vegetables made after "nine pickling and nine drying" are sold to Beijing, Shanghai and other places. Laoyancai has not only become a brand of local agricultural and sideline products, but also successfully helped Huifeng Village to take off the "poor village" hat.
