[Explanation] In order to improve the efficiency of passenger inspection and better respect and protect the privacy of passengers, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport has recently opened 4 male-only security inspection channels. Since the opening of the male-only security channel, the efficiency of passenger security screening has increased by approximately 10%.
According to airport security inspection regulations, when performing security checks on passengers, female passengers can only be checked by female security inspectors. When the passenger flow of the airport is large, if male and female passengers are still used to queue up for security check, it is easy to cause excessive workload of female security checkers. Especially when female passengers pass the inspection continuously, male security inspectors can only wait by the side. At the same time, the waiting time for male passengers will increase.
Under normal circumstances, male passengers have fewer carry-on items, and there is no special requirement for the gender of the security inspector. The opening of the male-only security check channel will not only make the assignment of security inspectors during peak hours more coordinated and smooth, but also reduce the waiting time for passengers and improve the efficiency of airport security checks.

Because there is still a difference between male and female luggage, because when they are mixed, there are cosmetics, eyebrow cutters, or other inspection items in the female luggage. If men and women are separated, the inspection efficiency of men will be faster when they have less luggage. We mainly think from the perspective of inspection efficiency, so we created a male-only channel.
[Explanation] It is understood that Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport currently has two male-only channels and female-only channels in the east and west areas of the T3 terminal. Through the diversion of people of different genders, the fluency of security inspections has been greatly improved, and the traffic efficiency has increased by about 10%. At the same time, the airport will continue to optimize and upgrade the dedicated channels according to the actual conditions of operation in order to better serve passengers.
