Thierry Bolloré - DR

A distant cousin of industrialist Vincent Bolloré, Thierry Bolloré enjoyed a discreet career until recently. He rose through the ranks at Michelin where he began his career in 1990. He became vice-president of the world in 2002, then joined Faurecia, an automotive equipment engineering and production group. He finally arrived at Renault in 2012, where he was appointed Director of Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

Spotlight

At the time of the storm of the Carlos Ghosn affair, Thierry Bolloré was then propelled to the place of deputy general manager of the Renault Group in 2018 before becoming general manager in 2019, without however obtaining the support of all the directors. He will finally be removed from his post in October of last year.

Rebound

Thierry Bolloré is now back in an important position since he is officially announced at the head of the Jaguar Land Rover group and will take office on September 10. He replaces Ralf Speth who had managed the arrival of the new owner, the Tata group 10 years ago, and relaunched the two brands.
