At the meeting, based on the spread of the new coronavirus infection, we compiled an action plan that included about 50 projects.

Due to the effect of disruption of the supply chain = supply network for many goods whose production was concentrated in China etc. due to the spread of infection, in the action plan, Japan aims to diversify production bases It includes measures such as promoting support for capital investment by Japanese companies in the region and supporting human resource development of digital technologies such as IoT to improve production efficiency.

In addition, by utilizing the know-how of Japanese companies, we will develop businesses such as remote education and medical care in the ASEAN region.

According to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, there are approximately 6000 companies from Japan in the ASEAN region, and based on this action plan, we would like to contribute to the economic revitalization of Japan and ASEAN.
