Minister of Science and Technology Choi, Ki-Young said today (28th) regarding the current state of corona19 vaccine development, "If planned, a domestic vaccine will be released in September next year."
Minister Choi said in a general meeting of the National Assembly for Science and Technology Information and Communication, "We can't rely on 100% of what is being developed in foreign countries, so we want to go ahead and develop our own vaccine."
"We have no information that we can mass-produce in June next year," said Bill Gates, chairman of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's domestic vaccine development. "I don't know if Gates had other information.
In a letter to President Moon Jae-in, President Gates recently said,'Korea is at the forefront of vaccine development in the private sector.' "We will be able to produce a dog's vaccine."
Minister Choi added, "We know that if it is completed in August next year (development) and you apply for approval by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in September, it may be possible to inoculate before the end of the second half of next year."
