The Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi issued a circular allowing private sector facilities to raise the percentage of workers and employees in the workplace to 60%, in line with the measures taken to ensure business continuity while maintaining health and safety in the workplace

The circular stipulated the necessity to adhere to the application of 8 specific precautionary and preventive procedures in the workplace, coinciding with raising the presence rate to 60%, which includes relying on employees with low health risks and obligating the employees most exposed to high health risks to work remotely
. The circular also provided for a heat examination for all employees. And visitors and prevent anyone from entering the symptoms of the virus or rising temperatures with everyone obliged to wear masks and gloves and use the floor marks for social distance of two meters

The circular demanded that the health department be informed of any case showing symptoms of hyperthermia or symptoms of the Covid-19 virus, with the assembly sites completely closed and a commitment to periodic sterilization of surfaces exposed to frequent contact.

It is noteworthy that the penalty for non-compliance with the circulars of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi starts from imposing graduated financial fines and ends with the closure of the violating economic establishment.
