Xinhua News Agency, Haikou, July 26 (Reporter Luo Jiang) The reporter learned from the Hainan Provincial Joint Conference on Promoting Private Economic Development that in the first half of this year, there were 107,100 new private market players in Hainan Province, accounting for 97.2% of the province’s new market players. An increase of 22.27%, the development of various sectors of the private economy has steadily recovered, showing a positive development trend.
The private economy is an irreplaceable force in Hainan's social and economic development. According to statistics, as of July 22, there were more than 1.04 million market entities of various types in Hainan Province, including more than 980,000 private market entities, accounting for 95%. There are more than 327,000 private enterprises in the province, accounting for 91.51% of the total number of enterprises in the province.
The main body of the private market has shown greater resilience and strong development momentum. In the first half of this year, the private economy in Hainan Province has added value of 163.9 billion yuan, accounting for more than 68% of the province's GDP; the private economy achieved tax revenue of 43.781 billion yuan, and taxation accounted for 87.8%.
