They are hard hit by the consequences of the health crisis on cultural life. The extension of the compensation rights of intermittent entertainment workers until the end of August 2021 was recorded by a decree of the Ministry of Labor published this Sunday in the Official Journal .
This “white year” was announced on May 6 by Emmanuel Macron. The extension concerns intermittents arriving at the end of their rights between March 1, 2020 and August 31, 2021. In addition, a draft decree, to be published shortly, provides for the specific conditions under which readmission rights will be examined at the resulting from this extension.
Double the number of hours of intervention in an educational institution
"By way of derogation if the job seeker does not meet the minimum membership condition of 507 hours during the last 12 months, the missing working hours will be sought during an extended reference period running beyond the 12 month preceding the last end of the employment contract. These working hours are retained from the most recent to the oldest until reaching 507 hours, without the hours having been used for a previous opening of right can be reused ”, one can read in the draft decree.
The text also plans to double the number of hours of intervention in an educational establishment, taken into account for the opening of unemployment rights, by increasing them from 70 to 140 hours for those under 50 years old. For older intermittents, the number of hours drops from 120 to 170 hours.
