All this power can be sent to the 4 wheels, to the front wheels or… to the rear wheels only. Did you say drift?
At more than 250 km / h…
The battery capacity is “only” 56.8 kWh (compared to 76 and 99 kWh for the production models) but the nickel-manganese-cobalt cells offer top performance. In addition, at 257 km / h, the aerodynamic downforce would be 1,000 kg! Looking at the rear wing, we understand that at high speed, this Mustang Mach-E 1400 can be glued to the ground. On the other hand, we assume that the autonomy should not be great, but that is not the objective sought by Ford with this unique prototype.
